I grew up in the small town of Elysburg, PA. I graduated from Southern Columbia High School- a school surrounded by corn fields. I worked at Knoebels Amusement Resort through the summers selling drinks, hermit crabs, and t-shirts. I stayed busy after school doing gymnastics, softball, & field hockey (which I played through college). After college, I took up running to stay active and enjoyed (well, mostly enjoyed) running a few 10-mile races and two half marathons.
I graduated from College Misericordia with my Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 2003 and decided to take my first job in a big city- Harrisburg, PA- well, it felt like a BIG city to me after growing up in a small town! I worked for the same outpatient physical therapy practice until 2009 when I started working for Orthopedic & Spine Physical Therapy. I have attended many continuing education courses included McKenzie technique, vestibular therapy, and rehab of athletes.
Over the past 20 years I have worked with a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. I enjoy treating neck & back pain as it is something I experienced and understand how it can disrupt your life and keep you from doing the things you love. Helping patients find relief and get back to doing what they love again is what it’s all about.
Having two children of my own I understand how important it is to be able to pick them up or get down on the floor to play with them. I love helping patients feel better and get them back to playing with their children or grandchildren again.
My coworkers are like family (some actually are my family!) And I love that we have the time to get to know our patients as we work through their problem areas and find a treatment that works for them.

Outside of work I love spending time with my family. Our two kiddos keep us busy with lots of after school activities and sporting events. I also love reading when I find time. I stay active with at home weight and cardio workouts and have been diving into learning more about nutrition (specifically gut health) and love trying new recipes!
