"I felt something pop in my foot. The pain and swelling was unbearable. MRI results showed a torn ligament. Surgery was recommended. I just had knee replacement 6 months prior and did not want to have surgery again. I called Hersh at OSPT. He recommended several Lazer treatments and a exercise schedule to strengthen my ankle and foot. After about 6 weeks of therapy, I am happy to say I am pain free! I am able to do all my normal activities without pain and swelling. So glad I chose OSPT over surgery! Special thanks to Hersh and Andrea. They were awesome! I will definitely recommend them in the future!"

"I had suffered from mild hip pain for close to 14 years, and severe pain in my left thumb for over 6 months. Sitting for long periods of time was difficult due to my hip, and doing simple tasks like grabbing a door knob, wringing out a cloth, or holding things in my left hand was gradually getting worse. I had almost no use left in my thumb because it was so uncomfortable. 6 weeks of physical therapy with Hersh, Andrea, and team took care of the hip pain and by the end of my treatment, I was able to have full use of my thumb again! Very professional, helpful staff — friendly and going above and beyond to give me full mobility again. Would highly recommend Orthopedic & Spine Physical Therapy!"

"I went to this place as I was not improving with many sessions of PT before for my IT band. They did a full evaluation and for the first time I was told that it might be my back . Hersh and Andrea worked their magic and really helped me with strengthening my back and because of them I am able to get into a lot of my HIIT exercises which I had not done for 4 months .They have a great staff and I truly feel blessed that I could get PT from them and was able to get back to leading a near normal life"

"Very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions to make my pain go away. I never knew PT could work so well for pain. They use various treatments and change treatments if one doesn't seem to be working. They work with you and if you want to get ahead, they give advice and instructions on what to do at home. They keep everything very clean so I felt safe. They all are very kind and every single employee knew my name right away."

"Hersh and Andrea will take the best care of you at OSPT. I've had extensive rehab for a serious injury at a large university hospital, and the therapists there (given a year of different OT, PT, and speech therapies) while excellent, did not approach the level of care or attention to detail and personal attention I received over 6 week course of treatment for a bulging disc at OSPT. I thought my chronic headaches were a result of my other condition and when the pain disappeared after I began treatment with Hersh, I realized a long-standing chronic problem with my posture was the actual cause of my debilitating headaches. They are gone now! And my neck is doing great. If you need physical therapy, go to OSPT. It is a calm, well-managed care center which they keep meticulously clean and organized. If you touch a tool or surface, they are wiping it down for the next client a moment later. Pillow cases are changed after each use, a place for everything, and everything in its place. These guys are the real thing. And as nice people as you could hope to talk to while you're working to heal."

"I had an excellent experience at OSPT. I was referred by a friend as I had been suffering from back and neck pain for years. I had tried many other places and modalities, but no one was able to help alleviate the pain. Hersh and the staff at OSPT were very professional and listened to me. We established a plan together to reduce overall pain and gain more motion. I am so excited to report that after a few weeks of treatment I am now pain free!! A huge thank you to Hersh and his amazing team for helping me get back to doing things I love to do 😀"

"I just finished a 12 week program here and was overly satisfied! Courtney was so knowledgeable and gave me valuable information to carry with me in my own environment. "To start with Angie at the front desk was very personable very friendly. I had vertigo caused by crystals in my ear. When I called they got me in immediately. Hersh was very knowledgeable in the treatments for this .After the 1st treatment a lot of the issue was gone. I was a little nervous to say the least but Hersh worked with me and explained everything that was going on. Hersh also had an intern working with him. Could not have been any nicer. If you are in need of PT do not think twice about seeing them."

"After experiencing trouble bending, and terrific pain putting on my socks and shoes, my Primary Care Provider referred me to the office of Orthopedic & Spine Physical Therapy. After being under their care for 9 weeks, 2 appointments each week, plus receiving 10 treatments of Deep Tissue Laser Therapy, I now have no pain bending and no trouble putting my socks and shoes on. The entire team they have works so well together to help you get back to a normal lifestyle. They are focused on each individual patients concerns and I would highly recommend their practice to anyone experiencing physical pain. This is my second experience with having physical therapy for back pain in 15 years and definitely would choose this treatment before having surgery. Well pleased with the results and treatment I received. Thank You to Courtney, Andrea, Hersh, and Angie."

"I herniated disc in my lower back L4, L5, and had pain in my right leg that went down to my knee. Difficult walking. My neurosurgeon recommended physical therapy and my wife recommended OSPT. She had been there before for lower back injury and told me how wonderful the staff was. She was right. Hersh was my primary physical therapist. Andrea was the secondary and on some days the primary. They developed a PT plan that had the exact exercises I needed to do in order to bring my back around. I have completely recovered thanks to their care and expertise. Everyone at the practice is professional and caring. I highly recommend OSPT for anyone who requires physical therapy."

"Injury Date: 9/23/21 Injury: Ruptured S1/L5, Herniated L4/L5, Arthritis and bone abnormalities in the spine. Severe sciatic pain and instability in left leg and foot from compressed nerve root. Previous treatment: Acupuncture, PT x2, Epidural injections, Chiropractic care x3, massage and I visited 3 surgeons and 4 specialists. After over 2 years and many treatments, I was referred to Orthopedic and Spine Physical Therapy, as a requirement of an impending microdiscectomy surgery. I was assigned Courtney and we went to work. She started out very gently and I was very appreciative. She is a very good listener, and I noticed less pain almost immediately when I followed her instructions. I also researched the laser that is offered in the office and found that it was very good and evidence-based outcomes at 18 visits. I have completed 19 laser sessions and it's very effective for pain management. I am happy to report that I my pain has decreased and is manageable after 22 visits and my mobility has improved significantly. I am no longer awaiting surgery but working on improving stability and re-building core strength. I really appreciate the staff, especially Courtney, at OSPT and look forward to the visits. Thank you for the HUGE improvement in my quality of life and health."

"This is a wonderful, comfortable facility for PT! The therapists are kind and attentive, and there were usually no more than 1 or 2 other patients in the office during my sessions. "This is by far the best Orthopedic & Spine Physical Therapy business in the area. I have seen Hersh two separate times for two different issues. Both issues were fixed and when I continue to do my exercises I have no issues. It has been almost two years now that I last saw Hersh and it has been almost two years now that I have had to seek chiropractic care! The whole practice is amazing. Everyone is friendly, kind, caring, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to go in for my scheduled appointments. "I went to Orthopedic & Spine Physical Therapy (OSPT) last summer as my left knee was very swollen and both of my knees were in great pain. Hersh evaluated my situation and he and his team worked with me and guided me through very effective physical therapy that greatly improved the health of both knees. Hersh gave me great exercises and knee stretching exercises that reduced my pain and led to great improvement. I continue to exercise as prescribed by Hersh and this has helped to greatly protect and improve my knees so that I can continue to enjoy sports and life in general. The OSPT team is great. I have recommended them to several of my friends and will continue to do so."

Once we started my treatment plan, Hersh suspected my elbow and shoulder pain was coming from my upper back. He was so right! After my neck and upper back took sustained trauma from several car accidents and falls for 40 years, I wasn’t surprised. After working with him for many months (I had a number of setbacks; none caused by them), he had my neck moving more than it has since I was 17. I’ve learned so much and feel so much better. I highly recommend!"

"This is the best PT practice I have been to. Hersh and his team treat each and every patient like family! All areas, reception, bathrooms, clinic are very clean and well maintained. "I had been experiencing back pain for months before I finally decided to do something about it. I went and saw Hersh and immediately felt a sense of relief because after chatting with him and his physical assessment, we had a PLAN. Between the PT visits and the exercises he gave me to do at home, my pain slowly began improving, and now I am pain free! When I am feeling a flare up coming on I now know to be proactive and do the exercises that are helpful and go in to be seen for more therapy if needed. "I had serious left ankle surgery 12/28/2021. Following recovery, I had physical therapy to strengthen and improve function. I had excellent results from the care I received at OSPT. The entire staff was professional, caring and friendly. I knew it would require time and effort to get back to my pre-injury state, as my surgeon indicated it may take 12-18 months. I am pleased to report within 6 months I felt like my old self, and now at the 1 year mark I am 100 % back to all my activities. I ski, bike, and also run daily on the treadmill. Hersh and Andrea are exceptional! Their caring yet persistent demeanor kept me on task and encouraged my progress. "After 6 wks of therapy with Hersh, following a time when I thought I’d live my remaining life in some pain, I am amazed and grateful. My rotator cuff was impinged and inflamed by bones improperly placed and poor muscle strength. Now, my bones are repositioned and I’m well on my way, with new understanding, to maintaining proper movement and exercise to support my wellness! Though I have always exercised, I have never done precisely those things I’ve needed to do because I just didn’t know. This is a wholistic practice built on very specific analysis of each unique set of issues, with treatment and educating toward optimizing quality of life. I highly recommend!"

"I have had great experiences working with OSPT. The last time I needed their help was for lower back pain that made me want to stay in bed. I was seriously pondering how it would be to spend the rest of my life in this kind of pain. Hersh worked with me for 15-18 visits and I got my life back! I have had to keep doing the exercises at home to keep stiffness away, but I only do them 2-3 times a week, a small price to pay for pain free living. I wholeheartedly recommend OSPT and hope you will find the same kind of relief I did. One more thing to look forward to if you become a patient at OSPT is the friendly, caring staff; they will brighten your day while helping you heal."

"When I arrived, I was using a walker with a leg brace. After a few weeks of therapy, Hersh and his folks had me walking unassisted and building my muscle strength to go up and down stairs. They gave me numerous, very helpful exercises to continue doing at home and checked in with me even after they released me from care! If I ever need PT again, I will definitely put myself in the competent, caring hands of the OSPT staff! I’ve referred a few friends to them since and they all had glowing comments about OSPT! They run great informational classes too!"

"I couldn't lift my left arm over my head to apply shampoo or to hold the hair drier to dry my hair. Hersh said he could help me. I took therapy for about (6) weeks and saw no improvement. All the while, I had gotten equipment to do the exercises at home and I did them almost every day. I told Hersh that I thought we should get some pictures and see what the cause was. Hersh encouraged me to give it a little more time, so I did. It was within the the next two weeks I was seeing improvement. After that point I saw rapid improvement. Within a couple more weeks I was released. I can do those things I could not do when I first went in to OSPT. "Hersh and the team at OSPT are fantastic! I went in to get help with neck and upper back pain. Hersh put together a plan, I followed it, and I was pain free in the time period we originally planned on. They gave me exercises to do at home so that I can stay on top of my muscles and make sure that the pain doesn't come back. The staff is extremely helpful and so friendly! Angie was amazing helping me get everything set with a referral from my family doctor and she was able to work around my crazy, end of the school year schedule. "When I went in the first time I could hardly function due to the pain in my neck. I was a high 10 in pain. Tyler and Hersh discussed what they could do to help me. After first three visits I was getting some relief. I chose to try the laser treatments also. After six treatments I was so much better. I was able to function again with only a 6 pain level. After six weeks of therapy I am a pain level of about 2. With my continued home therapy I should soon be a 1. Tyler was a great therapist. Listening to me every visit and helping me through the exercises. He cared and it showed. Loved him. As for David he was so helpful and kind. He helped me believe I could get better. "Great experience. Everyone here is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. From check-in to evaluation and the actual program I was impressed with the process. The PT itself helped me go from daily pain in my hip and taking advil to no pain at all most of the time. In four weeks I went from thinking surgery for my bone on bone hip was right around the corner to almost no pain at all. I do still work the program Hersh set up for me at home daily. I was skeptical at first but did the therapy routines they established for me and I got results pretty quickly. It steadily improved from there. I am very happy with the results I achieved with the help of OSPT. It is important to note while Covid-19 is going on they are doing everything possible to keep everyone safe. I work with high risk individuals so it is important I stay healthy and at OSPT they take temperatures, have you wash your hands, and clean all the equipment after each use. "Staff are very friendly and professional. Your own needs are put first and everyone is ready to help you when needed. Appointments are on time and Hersh is always available to inquire about your progress and work with you in addition to his staff of therapists. Both Hersh and David did an excellent job helping me to get through the first phase of therapy prior to shoulder surgery. Surgery could not be avoided, however, the therapy did help me tolerate the surgery better and will ultimately help me complete my recovery quicker. PT after shoulder surgery went great. Was back to bowling and golfing in a couple of months. Continued to let the shoulder heal for several more months before doing any heavy lifting. A few years later i had some back issues so i went to see Hersh. Went through some more PT and back was feeling much better. Anytime i experience any stiffness or pain i just do some of the exercises from PT and within a few days all is back to normal. The staff is great to work with and i would not hesitate to go back should the need arise."

"For over 20 years I suffered with back pain. I continuously saw chiropractors just to get through each month and be able to stand up straight. I took muscle relaxers and even used meditation to block out the pain. The pain grew to be unbearable with cramps throughout the night. I figured it was worth a try to check out OSPT. "I had been dealing with a partially torn rotator cuff for over a year with little improvement. Finally went to therapy, within 2 weeks there was noticeable improvement. After about 2 months my shoulder is back to 98% of where it was before injury. Stretching and strengthening did the trick. I cannot say enough about the entire staff at OSPT, they are knowledgeable, friendly, can explain what is happening and why but results are what really matters and I got results. "I am very happy that I went through the therapy sessions. While I have not extended the length of ride, beyond 3-1/2 hours as yet, the onset and severity of discomfort has been reduced and the need for any medications eliminated.
